Hawthorne Cottage a pretty, detached cottage; deceptively spacious set in the heart of the village of East Williamston. Full of charm and character, it is stylishly furnished in a classic mix of antique with a contemporary twist. The spacious, well-appointed cottage style kitchen/diner is perfect for preparing and enjoying leisurely family meals, while there are 2 sitting rooms giving plenty of space to relax. The larger sitting room has a wood burning stove to cosy round on those chillier evenings and French doors lead out with one step down to a paved terrace, a sheltered spot to enjoy an alfresco meal on a balmy summer’s evening. The bedrooms, one on the ground floor are delightful retreats with fresh white linen and homely touches. The lawned garden, prettily planted with mature shrubs and hedges wraps around the cottage with the area to the front, a real sun trap where you can just sit and relax.
Conveniently located in the picturesque village of East Williamston, enjoy exploring the Jubilee Park and nature trail located on the edge of the village. This area abounds in footpaths many offering wheelchair access, meandering through woodland and wetland, perfect for dog walking and also includes a children's adventure play ground. While tucked away the popular seaside village of Saundersfoot with its glorious sandy beaches and bustling shops is within a short car journey as is the town of Tenby with picturesque harbour, sandy beaches and excellent facilities. There are a host of family attractions nearby including Manor House Wildlife Park, Heatherton Activity Sports Park and Folly Farm. Explore the neighbouring villages, Carew has an excellent pub serving good food, enjoy a walk round the mill pond overlooked by the imposing Carew Castle ruin, try fresh local produce from the farm shop at Milton also with a popular village pub. We had a lovely week at your homely, perfectly located cottage. Always a pleasure to return back here at the end of the day. Lovely bedding and welcome pack was really appreciated. Thank you and we hope to return again xx
Fabulous cottage and we have all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Love the quiet peaceful village that has a lovely park for the children and the end of the road. The Carew Inn is great for food. The cafe at Lawrenny has wonderful food and is great for lunch. The generous welcome pack was just what we needed.
Very lovely property with all the home comforts. Perfectly positioned to explore South Pembrokeshire's coastline We ate at Mulberry & Coast - both in Sundersfoot. Coast is a lovey restaurant over looking the sea not cheap though! Mulberry allowed our Springer Spaniel Molly to dine with us - a nice touch! The Wifi is a bonus due to the lack of phone signal. Welcome goodies very much appreciated. A hand towel for use in the kitchen was about the only thing we lacked! Fabulous break. Thank you.
Love the cottage - only hiccup was the heating wasn't on the 1st night we arrived, couldn't get hold of the number on our contact letter so rang Coastal Cottages number the following and they sent someone out to sort the heating out - we were not able to override the details on the thermostat ourselves. That said once the heating was working we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Visited Vincent Davies Home Store just outside Haverfordwest - Fab store worth a visit if you need anything for the home also a great cafe. Narbeth is worth a visit with lots of independent boutique type shops and wonderful delicatessens. Big thank you to Mike who bought around logs and a little box of chocolates for the inconvenience.
Thanks for letting us stay in your cottage. We all found it very comfortable (A home from home). We all enjoyed our week. Relaxing and visiting Tenby and Saundersfoot for meals out. We made the mistake of visiting Tenby on Iron Man Day, WE eventually ended up in Saundersfoot after a few de tours, we had a great day in amonfst the spectators watching the race. Steve spent sometime fishing at Water Meadows, 5 minutes up the road. Sorry to be leaving. But we will be back for Christmas. Thanks again.

Enjoyed our stay. Our Grandson had fun exploring - Broad Haven beach is glorious. Trip to Folly Farm and visit to Carew Castle. Granny & Grandad loved Coastal path walks from St.David and cold winds but great weather over all. Cottage well appointed missed a casserole pot and coat hangers but all else fine. Thank you. P.S thank you for the wine and goodies.
Fab stay could have done with some cloths to wipe the kitchen worktops /table and a spare tea towel. Kids loved the toys but we could only find 1 DVD player. Thank you and will be back again.
